Risk assessments are key to successful health & safety management. They are required by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and support other Regulations that have been introduced since then.
Risk assessments need to be carried out on a regular basis by competent trained people and reviewed at regular intervals. They provide an independent objective assessment and evaluation of organisational risks.
